Link Your Nintendo Switch ‘Fortnite’ Account To Xbox One, PC, Or Mobile — Not PS4
If you have a Nintendo and downloading Fortnite: Battle Royale that means you already play this game. You want it on your Nintendo to cause why not it’s the most popular game on the planet right now. Being this much popular Epic Games has tried everything to make everyone happy that’s why they have made the game so flexible, you can open your one account in every platform. That means your progression on one platform on one account you can’t lose.
For PC And Mobile, the process is very simple all you need to do is login to mobile or PC with the same email and password you use for your Epic Games account. Once you get logged in your progression will be the same as it was before and you will be in the same lobby, you were in before.
Okay, now the complicated one, how to link Nintendo Switch ‘Fortnite’ Account to Xbox One. For this first you have to do is link your Epic Games account to Xbox One. You have to skip the part where the console requires you to create a new account. The easy way to do this:
- Go to Epic.com
- Click the Xbox logo at the top under “sign up.”
- This will generate a new Epic account based on your Xbox One account.
- Now all you have to do is log in on switch with this Epic account.
However, Epic Games has made every possible thing to make this game flexible there is still an exception. That exception is PS4 if you are a PS4 player you are out of luck seriously. This is how it goes you can’t use your PSN linked Epic Games account in the switch and you can’t use Switch linked Epic Games account in PS4. Sony is doing everything in order to make PS4 online exclusive to only PS players. So there is no choice other than creating a new Epic Games account and starting again without any cosmetic item in your gallery.
However, Sony hasn’t made it clear what’s the reason behind this wall. As PS4 players can still play with PC and mobile players, they are just ignoring any competition in the same platform. Let’s see how the future for Sony and Fortnite works out.
